ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH
SCHOOL OF VISUAL ART
USA New York
Born in Taiwan and raised in Shanghai, I grew up with art in the family. Then I went to School of Visual Arts to study illustration.
While in the School of Visual Arts, I was influenced by some well-known artists and professors; Ink drawing with Sam Weber, beautiful mark with Bill Donovan, and Thomas Woodruff was in charge of my portfolio development.
Not only by professors, the New York city itself impacted me a lot too. The six years in the city has formed my art.
I'm obsessive with women's body, I love the soft flows and the fragrance bring by the figure. So as patterns, lines, dots, repeating these calm me down. I would say my drawings are usually my fetish.
With those drawings combining peculiar portraits with thin lines and solid black ink, the fictional scenarios that are extreme to the point where they become discomforting. The drawing process is very neurotic, obsessive, and full of mysteries that bring by the darkness.
