ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH
SCHOOL OF VISUAL ART
USA New York
Born in Taiwan and raised in Shanghai, I grew up with art in the family. I have exhibited in the School of Visual Arts as a nominated student artist since 2016, a thesis exhibition that has influenced my study and art path.
While in the School of Visual Arts, I have received support from some well-known artists and professors; Ink drawing with Sam Weber, beautiful mark with Bill Donovan, and Thomas Woodruff was in charge of my portfolio development.
With a series of drawing combining peculiar portraits with linear flows, the fictional scenarios that are extreme to the point where they become contradictory. The creative process is neurotic, obsessive, full of uncertainties that are solved by the work itself. By work in the in-betweens, in that place between certainty and uncertainty, between what is real and what is imagined, the place where concepts swivel and contradict themselves, where opposites meet to complete their cycle.
My style can only present my thinking, not my limitation.
